No ranking order has been established, because i don't think any of them have official fights against each other. It’s a bit of both in my opinion Suo and kiryu seems to use martial arts very well I couldn’t tell you what kind though unfortunately But the way they move spells it out

However there are characters that seem to have formulated their own style Take sakura for example, his style of fighting relies heavily on being highly flexible and being quick on. I thought that the shishitoren battle was on their day off but then in chapter 34 kiryu mentions how they (sakura, suo, nirei, & sugishita) weren’t in school the day before (presumably the day of the shishitoren fight) so that’s why they haven’t chosen a grade captain
